Heartful Parenting

It takes a village to cherish a parent to nurture a child. ~ Judy Arnall

We, parents, need to be cherished as we embark on the road of nurturing our child(ren).  Do you agree?  What a precious and amazing gift we’ve been given!  And overwhelming at times too!  Right?

We want our children to know they’re secure.

We want them to grow into their best and fullest selves.

We want to stay connected to them always.

Back to the Judy Arnall quote, she says that we need to be cherished so we can parent from spacious, loving, wisdom.  Right?  Not from our own old childhood patterns – some that we’d actually like to change.

I can help.  I teach parents the very practical skills of Nonviolent Communication (NVC):

  • listening powerfully and empathically
  • expressing yourself authentically
  • handling reactivity
  • having heart-to-heart conversations
  • making requests

If you long for deeper connection with your children and more joy in your life, I invite you contact me at 650 787-6527 or email me at Teresa@TeresaRoseCoaching.com to set up a complimentary 20 minute phone consultation.

<!–Read a research study that compares middle school children who studied NVC to others who did not. It showed the profound effects that studying NVC had on the children’s capacity for authenticity and empathy – in other words, being themselves.–>
